Time for an update! Stuff! Things! Ramblings! Ah...er..uh....wa!

So yeah. Here I am, postin' away. Not too much to say. Don't know what to say at all, actually.

Oh yeah. I started another Neil Gaiman book yesterday. American Gods. I finished it today. Once again, Greg, you have stolen a few days of my life. Ruthless, generous bastard.

Now if I can only get to The Age of Spiritual Machines, which I now realize that I have kidnapped it from Rachel for about a year, I think. Sorry. : (

Not much else to say. Looking forward to a Ben Folds concert on October 25th....but honestly, if you're reading this, you know about that, don't you?

I'll post more later. I need to start writing. Got a couple ideas for some short stories. Haven't written a good poem in so long...

Ah well.

And now....WE DANCE!

Hmm...the post below was written when it indicates, but there were publishing issues I was not aware of. Not that anyone save one or two people would notice, but still.

I finished Neverwhere later on that day. Such a good book. Then I finally read The Old Man and the Sea. I'm getting unlazy! Reading again! Now if I could just coax some words from my pen I'd be set. Still have much to read....both for school and for entertainment.

Recent CD purchases:
Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Both are excellent, and I recommend them to all.

I am now officially a journalism pending major, and will soon be turning in my "application" to get into the major. Which isn't really so much an application as it is a sheet to write your GPA on. This, unfortunately, means I may not get into the program. Last semester, the GPA cutoff was 3.53. I currently have a 3.04. Now, if the school was to factor out all my now-unneccessary micro and chem classes, I'm sure my GPA would be high enough, but I don't think they will.

I actually managed to fix my schedule. After this semester, I will only need 1 more political science class to get my minor in that field. Having done all my gen-ed as well, this will leave me with, essentially, 3 semesters to take 36 credit hours of classes for my journalism major. In other words, it looks like I'll still be able to get out of here in 4 years, despite the major change (this calculation, of course, does require my acceptance into the program by next semester).

I think....this is all I wish to say right now. Yes. It is.
