Farmer in Japan:
"You kidding? I got two helpers. Them and me and the dog. The dog does most of the work, though. The sheep trust the dog. He ain't no sheepdog if the sheep don't trust him."
Got two helpers? Ain't? Japanese colloqualisms tranlated? Or are we now treading through the translator's words, having him press his ideas of how a farmer should sound to readers of english.
I will probably never know.
And that annoys me slightly.
